Orlando Sunshine short-term holiday rental villa is ideally located in Davenport, an easy drive just about 12 minutes from Disney and central to everything else that makes Orlando the top vacation destination in the world. Plus, it's within an easy drive of the Orlando Orange County Convention Center, so you can mix convention and trade show business with kick back and relax pleasure.
The vacation home is tucked into an exclusive enclave of luxury homes in a quiet area, yet just a couple of minutes away from Interstate 4 and highway 27. It's across highway 27 from the huge new retail development Posner Park, which is a brand new retail development on the site which used to be the Kansas City Royals baseball team spring training facility. Some stores are already open, and when completed Posner Park will have an incredible variety of shopping and activities available just a mile or two from the villa.

Our vacation home is in a small, exclusive, secure and exceptionally well maintained gated community of just 35 villas. It's on a premium pie-shaped corner lot so neighbors at the side are not too close, and it backs onto open space so there are no neighbors behind to restrict your privacy. This direction also gives the pool full sunshine pretty much from mid-morning until sunset (you'll have a great view of the sunset since the view is completely open to the west). The direction of the pool is important in these villas because if the pool faces north, for example, the villa and neighboring villas will block the sunshine on the pool - and a sunny, warm and private pool like ours is definitely preferred.
Unlike other vacation home communities which may have many poorly maintained properties, where grass is not cut or watered and the whole area is in decay; the street and homes in our community are all incredibly well kept and there's no nasty surprises in the environment as you're approaching the villa - it's an absolutely beautiful location and you'll feel good arriving at it.
The small gated community was built in 2003/2004, and is very unusual in how small it really is - there is only one street that loops around, and has just 35 homes. It's got to be the smallest gated community in the Orlando area. In many gated communities, there are dozens of streets and literally hundreds of homes - there are far too many people about to really give you the seclusion and privacy a gated community should provide. Some of the largest communities are the resort communities which boast a community pool and other facilities. The thing they don't tell you is that almost all the homes in their community are much too far away to actually make use of those facilities. Plus, do you really want to swim in a community pool with dozens of other people when you can have your own large private pool all to yourself?
